Anyone else feel very anxious? I am 8 weeks and struggling to even get out of bed because I am just so overwhelmed by general, non-baby focused anxiety. I feel like I’m losing my mind!

I definitely have my days, but I try to do things to calm myself like go for a leisurely walk outside, drink tea, or take a bath to try and decompress.

Did you talk to your OB? This is actually pretty normal. Some people get affected by hormones more than others. Mine told me I'll feel much better after 16 weeks. My emotion is pretty stable. Actually, I felt I'm much better than before I got pregnant. While I still have nausea, my energy level definitely became better. During my first trimester, I pretty much sleep in on Sunday, have lunch then take a nap again. Just too weak to do anything lol now I'm on pto today and I woke up super early, feeling energetic with only 7 hours of sleep vs 9+ hours during my first trimester but still felt exhausted. It'll get better! But worth mentioning to your ob and get some suggestions.

I take a trip to Germany, rent a Hertz, get in an accident, was rich famous designer, have amnesia, cannot work, don't remember my rich fiance. Do I hold trial in Germany or the USA? I keep on setting up TSA PreCheck appointments and then they get canceled out of the blue, a week or two before the appointment arrives. Is this typical? Is my best bet just to show up without an appointment at one of the locations that has more availability and have all my documents in order?

I’ve had back pain, either in lower back or sciatic nerve for the past 8 months. I got released from physical therapy around the holidays because I was making improvements and wasn’t in pain. However, since returning to work and working busy season hours it’s difficult to stay seated for most of the day. I bought a standing desk, but was wondering if anyone has any suggestions? I need to make some serious changes as I’m 27 and should not have this much back pain so young 😢

Has anyone here tested positive, finished their 5 day quarantine and travelled to the US? I am going to NY next week and just finished my quarantine period (after testing positive last week). Air Canada is saying they need (1) proof of positive test and (2) letter from my doc saying I’m fit to travel. I can’t find out how to give them a proof of positive test as I did a rapid test (and obviously that isn’t time stamped)

Just had my NIPT/Nuchal Translucency at 12w4d IVF pregnancy and the sonographer said everything looks fine but she wants me to come back in 5 weeks and then again a month later to do the scans again so she can get a clearer picture. She said baby is measuring slightly lower than it should, but it could be that doctors were a few days off on due date (is that a thing with IVF??). She also referred me to get a fetal echo at 20 weeks. Is this normal? I called OB, waiting for her to call me back.

Any 🐠 here with fibromyalgia that have managed to deal with sudden flare ups impacting timeline of return of deliverables? Yesterday and today have been complete washes due to first, all over body pain and today, added brain fog and extreme fatigue. I can’t think, can barely lift a pinky. I have items that I expected to get out but are now taking longer and not getting the focus I’d usually bring. Has FM interrupted your schedule before and how did you deal with it?
