Who is in the dental field?
Does anybody have any advice when applying to postings with many applicants and getting noticed? The company I am interested in is Figma, and though I reached out to a few technical recruiters after applying through LinkedIn, I am wondering if there might be something more I could do that maybe I’m not thinking about. Also along those lines, if anybody here works for figma I would love the chance to connect
Hi my IBM sharks !
With reference to creating a tax saver FD for tax exemption under Section 80C for FY 2022-23, what is the last date by which we need to create the Tax Saver FD and upload it as investment proof on IBM Tax declarations portal?
I know that in December we need to upload the investment proofs, but do we need to get the Tax Saver FD created before that?

I just took today off because I needed it. There should be no hesitation—and o pushback—for folks who what to stay healthy during a global pandemic. Anyone who would give you grief about this is not your friend.

Isn’t our society great?
Take it. And never feel guilty.

Show no fear, do not ask. Just do it.
You can’t do good work if you’re sick or exhausted, so release the guilt
Why do you feel guilty for using sick days that is given to you. Isn’t this how you’re supposed to use sick days? I’m curious to know why there is a sense of guilt.
Definitely continue with manager training. You will have to set it up as something they need to be able to do and gain experience with for their next level/role. You can start by giving them a small role in meetings and eventually expand their role. Give them something easier to manage during those meetings, see how they perform and refine expectations during 1:1s. Let them own the role even when you’re sitting in the meeting. You will have to assess their capacity/capabilities and start from there (and make sure they’re OK with it). Give them advice/frameworks and start with run of the mill type meetings.
You can’t expect them to volunteer to work at work but at the same time you don’t want to overwhelm them and cause them to freak out. Reassure it is ok to follow up in meetings as long as they cover the objectives of the meeting.
