Anyone else get an odd amount of pressure to not even think about using a mouse. I get directors who will literally call me out as if I’m an idiot bc I used my mouse for a couple things while sharing screen? Is this toxic or do I just need to get better?

I recently joined TCS but got another offer with a month of joining, Can I leave TCS ?(abscond) or if I decide to leave properly what would be my notice period?

Going on my 3rd year as a solo. Opened my practice 9 months after i became licensed. Going on 2 practicing family law. Have a small staff (LA, atty, para) However, I feel like I’m failing. I have a healthy cash flow but substantively i just feel at my breaking point. When I get the law wrong or have demanding clients or feel like I could’ve done better at hearing/trial. Any one have any advice?

If I want to negotiate a job offer and I say that I already have a higher offer at another company, would they ask for offer letter? If yes how would they verify?

Do firms like A&M HL kroll, have to deal with as much compliance bs as we do in public accounting firms? So many back end pains having to get the sow ready, legal help for certain cases, sending in conflict checks, and these god forsaken trainings.

I helped a friend perform valuation and modeling work on an equity raise with his current company and want to put it on my resume. I don’t really want to put the company name as i wasn’t an employee, but I did perform the whole three statement and DCF to value the company and be presented to investors, so I want to list it on my resume and speak to the experience during an interview. Thoughts?
