Omg this always happens to me the morning after an event involving alcohol!
Just ask yourself if you remember anyone else at the event sounding stupid or over sharing. Most likely, you’re not thinking about how other people acted, so just assume they’re not thinking about you.

That’s so true. Most of the time people are focused on themselves anyways. I just keep replaying things I said, thinking I sounded so dumb or annoying or something hah. Just gotta chill

I definitely have this feeling a lot. I am typically very cautious with what I say at work and almost always feel uncomfortable after drinking at work events even if I just share a tiny bit of basic personal information.
I’ve stopped drinking at larger work events - I might have a small glass of wine or something like that but I frequently don’t drink at all. I’ve found that I feel more comfortable and in control, and don’t have the anxiety/vulnerability hangover the next day. If I have a good friend on a team and feel comfortable with them, I might drink a bit more when we’re hanging out one on one or in small groups

Yeah that’s a good call. I thought it only happened when I drank more, but I had two drinks spread out over a 2 1/2 hour dinner last night, definitely was way under the legal driving limit. I’ve been more cautious with that too and I thought it would stop this feeling but I guess it hasn’t.
Idk what it was. Just sometimes feel like my personality doesn’t hit right 😂
