Where are you going out tonight?
Maybe staying at home this long has made me more critical, but I’m struggling to maintain any suspension of disbelief with ads and tv shows. Case in point: the MB ad where the kid snuggles the dirty, grime & bug ridden toy off the front of a truck - seriously!? And don’t get me started on ‘Your Honor’ - WTF, do they not have fingerprinting in the NOPD???!! Case closed.
Any single mothers here- how is it going for you? Any tips for someone planning to adopt or have a baby via IVF? I am 38F and tired of waiting for the "someone". I want to have children and am evaluating my options. I do not have family in the US.
Hiring @Trianz for mentioned positions. Please message me with the Role name and I will share the detailed job description. Thank you.

How do you deal with non-accepting family members? I don’t make it a thing, but I’ve been advised to take off my tie and change into more feminine clothing around them. I am okay with not discussing my personal life, but I don’t feel comfortable changing my dress. So I just don’t keep in contact with those relatives. A therapist told me that I am not secure in my gender identity if I am not willing to take off a tie and show compassion to a family member who would be upset by it? Am I selfish?
I was just offered an entry level integration engineer position for $55k? Would I be alright to negotiate for $60k?
Any plaid solutions engineers here or if anyone has interviewed for that position? I have my interview with hiring manager soon. I’d love to know what the nature of that interview will be. TIA! Plaid
My firm pays out bonuses in January. Does it make sense to max out my 401k from my bonus? I believe bonuses are taxed at a higher rate if I’m not mistaken.
Just sharing this here for fun because I’ve seen some posts about how much cars cost in the US. Here in Singapore, you pay up to ~US$60K to just own the rights to buy and own a car for 10 years (the cost of your average car is another US$40K+)!!
What do you wear for firm happy hour
Currently mid twenties, and trying to take financing more seriously and would really appreciate some insight on how to allocate my income into savings! Make about roughly 70k a year (post-tax, no pre-tax contributions). I spent about $3,350 a month (~40k a year on rent, car loan, bills etc), so I have about roughly 30k to save annually. Obviously putting 6k into roth ira, and I need help with insight on how to allocate he remaining 24k between Roth 401k, emergency fund, personal saving, etc.
What’s your favorite brand of workout clothes? (Female). I’ve had mine for 10+ years and it’s time to upgrade.
