Anyone else hate when people overuse the word “right?” when they speak? - - that’s part of the being a consultant, right, you need to look and sound the part, right, or you won’t be taken serious right.

right…

I feel attacked.

Right.

SAME. Somewhere on this app is a comment in which I say this very thing.

Especially when they don’t say “am I” in front of it…

Thanks KPMG - now I’ve noticed how many times I’ve said right this morning 😅

Also “um” and “yeah”. Yeah, um…right!

Planning to stay here for atleast 2yrs.

Can someone please tell if the ask is too much/ too low / perfect for this work ex and industry?

Does anyone participate in the Iowa Caucuses ? If you are in public, is your firm ok with you doing it?

Hey, everyone! Hoping someone may have a lead for a free online database for training approvals and registrations? It doesn’t need to be fancy! I’m in a new role in the public sector and am trying to move them out of Outlook and Excel messiness for training registrations. I’m just looking to streamline and centralize the process. (We don’t have SharePoint or any centralized database.) Thanks in advance!

Do you have advice on how to interview better with Amazon?

My résumé and portfolio are great, and I’ve been asked to interview with Amazon for 4 different teams now. However, it seems like I’m not making it past the first 1:1 interview. 3 out of 4 have resulted in not the right fit for reasons unknown; they don’t provide any feedback either. I have been invited for a new interview today with another team, and I am hoping 4th time is the charm. Any tips on how to do better next time?

Why are people cropping the name out of these screen shots? LinkedIn’s search is good enough that I can search one line from the post and find their profile immediately. Might as well save me the time…

I think we’re seeing all these posts because LinkedIn “training” is telling people that they should post 3 types of content rotating.

1. Something about your company/product
2. Something about the broader industry you’re in
3. Something personal to you that is still somehow related to your job/industry

I’ve never posted the third type but I’m not a LinkedIn “influencer”
