What are some of the “unproductive” things you’ve been doing during WFH? For me, whenever I have 30-45 minutes in between meetings and nothing urgent to get done, I’ll play a quick game of 2K.

Have officially optimized WFH to the point i just lay in bed and watch movies all day and bark orders over Teams on my phone. Who else is really working from their phone all day?

It took mandatory WFH for people to realize that internet should be treated as a utility like gas water and electricity and not something that can be monopolized at $100 for 100mbs.

This is my last wfh week as my office is going back full-time next week with mandatory 4 days in with one POSSIBLE wfh day a week.

I had a slow morning today, I spent most of the AM outside with my kid. We biked, we played with water and ate outside. Then I went inside and cried my eyes out. I’m going to miss this so much.

I’m working 100% remote. When would you email your boss and let him / her know that you will be offline for personal reasons? I occasionally need to pick up the kids from school so will be gone for an hour. I usually just block off my calendar as busy since I can pick up the missed work after I get home. If I am going to be out for more than an hour (leaving early for doctor appointment) then I will email my boss. Would you consider it as PTO if I work early to compensate missed time?

Surprised by Google’s move to expect at least three (3) days a week to be worked in person (as soon as April). Despite being one of the most progressive companies, that’s encroaching upon pre-COVID levels.

Dollar Generals and the like are plagues on small towns and their businesses. It pains me to see the parking lots full in the back country. No healthy food, and I’ve been told that the locals in the place where I’m WFH always spend their whole paychecks there, especially on terrible food
