How do I turn an internship into a full time offer ? Any recommendations to stand out ?

Is it possible for me to ask for my internship to be pushed forward to this winter? I have a summer internship at PwC next year but don’t think I can go through with it. Part time ideally. Let me know if it’s possible, thank you!

The number of the alumni and current students that go to top consulting firms FT& summer intern are countless even for a small class size.
Stern is way more than a finance school. Given its location, do you want to spend your 2 years in a rural area or heart of Manhattan? Location is almost everything for business school. (I have a friend in Cornell that frequently travels about 5 hours to NYC for events.)

Hi! I currently have 1 year of experience working as a Recruiter + my 6 month recruitment internship.

I have had the opportunity to work with well-known clients across the Financial Services, Tech and Healthcare industries.

According to my colleagues at other companies, the work I have been doing is very high volume!! However, I am not being compensated as such.

Tax Question: Can I “manipulate” my W-2 so I can file my taxes electronically?

Context: I have two W-2s (same employer, different states) which means boxes 1-6 for one of them is empty. Thus, turbotax says that I can’t e-file and would have to mail my taxes. However, I can solve this problem by simply putting $1 in boxes 1 and 2 (wages and federal income tax boxes) of the empty W-2 and this would enable me to e-file. I’m just scared I’ll somehow get in trouble. Anyone with experience on this?

How is Deloitte Strategy & Analytics? Is it exactly like S&O or does it focus more on strategic work (Corp strategy, ops strat, org)?

Looking for some input on how people thought about how expensive of a house they could afford. Wife and I are DINKs with a combined income around $550k, no debt other than two cars with about $50k total left owed.
What’s a reasonable top line number for a house? Or more so the all in monthly costs. There are sites for this and they are relatively trash. Hoping people here have lived it :)
