Anyone else interviewing with the VC called Fractal? What’s the process like?

I just interviewed someone a few levels above me. What person did at an AE level is extremely impressive. This has really motivated me to step it up. Can anyone recommend any books, workshops, tools, etc to be a better account person?

Recruiters, any tips for negotiating a title bump when interviewing for a lateral move? Especially if an agency knows a candidate is over qualified? What successes have you seen? Thanks in advance.

I had an interview last week for a Jr CW job. All went well it seemed. The CCO’s exact closing words were “You’re gonna have a great career. Your ideas are good”. Additionally, a CD there I contacted on LinkedIn said the CCO liked my book. But he ended by telling me they’re still getting things sorted out and to follow up this week. Don’t know if this is a bad sign I won’t get it or if I’m just being insanely impatient and unrealistic.

Is it true that the interviewers have to ask specific questions provided by the law team while interviewing candidates as part of perm processing?

I dated an artist who sells “feminism” in her works and gives interviews about how women need to support women, and in her free time she would shit talk about every female in her life how crazy they are, or dumb, or too fat and lazy, and don’t even get me started on her exes. When I broke up with her she hung flyers with my name around her neighborhood in NY saying I’m insane. Moral of the story: see what the people claiming to be feminists are actually doing to show it before supporting them.

Two big deliverables due next week with a FAANG final round = ultimate Sunday scaries. For those of you who have exited...how do you manage work load + interviews??

I’m tired of recruiters and the job search / interview process. They rush the process only to ghost or cancel at the last minute because “you didn’t fit the need”. I think at this point it’s just a resume harvesting game.

I have a call with HR tomorrow for a position at tiktok. It’s been years since I’ve interviewed for a new job and I’m curious what the FB community thinks I should do to prepare? What are the most likely questions ill be asked?
