Anyone else learning Spanish?

I've been working on my Spanish for a few years. My speaking is Intermediate Low (ACTFL level) but I decided to push to the next level this summer.

Have you found any reading materials that will help improve school vocabulary?

Has anyone been given an offer or received further movement on their application after a month or more from your last interview? Not sure if it’s odd that the company reached out after my final round interview to have a call and “discuss next steps” but then they haven’t responded to me since I’ve followed up (I’ve poked 3 times every 11 days or so but I plan to leave it be now until they respond).

I’m considering moving to Atlanta with kids and curious about Morningside and Virginia Highlands. Have heard schools are wonderful. I’m curious about how progressive or welcoming those areas may be towards black or mixed race kids. Or are there are better areas with high diversity and great schools?

Student loans- My friend told me her student loan payments have started and she is shocked by how much is pulled out of her paycheck. How are teachers expected to make ends meet? Is is better to have loans deferred until you make more money? She might need to move back home with her parents just to make ends meet. Any advice?

Me and another teacher had a meeting with a parent and student. After the meeting, the admin asked us both to stay. He shut the door and yelled at me for not apologizing to the student (the other teacher did before the meeting and I 100% wanted to, but I felt like the opportunity wasn't there - and yes, I know I should have). Tomorrow I plan on apologizing to the student. But do I say something to the admin for yelling at me in front of a coworker? Or let it go.
