Wife is a physician and makes x2 as much. Is it worth hiring a “physician focused” financial planner @ $100/month? She mostly help wife with disability insurance, retir/SEP plans, student loans, etc.

Need support & insights. Burnt out and so so ready to quit. Feel sick every workday and starting to hate the industry and resent normal work.

My boss was gone on holiday and on the first day as a stand in my body decided to miscarriage. I was only 7 weeks in but the pain and blood was unreal.

Hi! I need some help negotiating a raise. I have been working for this company for exactly 3 months now, but I was hired as an AGM. I'm not specific on what my responsibilities are as AGM.
However the GM at the time, quit 1 and a half months in. I was thrown into the role and have been handling it since.
My regional calls himself our GM but is never on site.
Was reluctant to cover my shifts when I became sick and requested time off for a few days. (4 days)

Earlier before pandemic the salary on an average was YOE x 2.5 means
5 yoe was 12.5 lacs appx and so on

Now it has just got increased by factor of 3 or 3.25 i.e. 8 year of work ex 8x3 = 24 -27 lacs

What do you think has led to this shift?

Hi all! I'm a fresher, a 2021 IT graduate, currently working as an analyst at Deloitte USI. After spending close to a year in a maintenance project, I'm looking to switch projects. But I'm not sure whether I should stick to SDE/developer roles or go into Data Engineering. Both the fields excite me but I'm a bit confused on what to choose. Does being an SDE give better salary/perks in the long run (like 10-20 years)? Because some say that SDE > DE while some say it is not so. Please be genuine.

As we get closer to the election in the U.S., have you noticed any shifts in campaign performance? Starting about a week and a half ago, I noticed the CPM for my paid campaigns very nearly triple. I'm curious if anyone else has seen anything like that. I know elections always drive as process up, but I don't recall it being so drastic before.

Guys, my manager the social media strategist just asked me how to calculate engagement rate. This is such basic knowledge. Everyone should be asked this at the interview at this point just to check if they know it.

This has ruined my day, because this is such a small instance of how incapable she is compared to me but is still in a top position. 😶
