The day you realise that in the grand scheme of things, you are just a little dot living life.
Not everyone needs to be the next 10m/1bil or the 1% . It’s okay to be in the top 10-20% and okay to be average/above average. Realise that this is the reality and you will be much happier
Invest time in travel , hobbies, good relationships outside of work to make life more fulfilling.
Pursue an innocuous hobby. Channel some of that energy into something else and start balancing out your life/time/energy.

You turn it off by realizing that work is a means to an end, nothing more. When you lose or screw up something that’s important to you personally because you let something work-related take precedence over your personal life, it’ll hit you like a ton of bricks.
Working to make someone else wealthy is always a losing proposition, even if it pays the bills. If your only life goals revolve around your job, it’s time to re-evaluate them.
