Anyone else tired of feeling inadequate or anxious at work? Lately I’ve felt so... bad... and constantly questioning myself, taking verbal beatings from clients, dreading work, etc. Sometimes I seriously just want to quit consulting or wonder if I’ll feel like I finally “get it”. It’s like I’m constantly faking it and just pretend I know what I’m doing. Constantly. Does imposter syndrome ever go away?

I wish to join one of the top consulting firms like McKinsey, BCG, B&C etc. I am currently working as a Business Analyst with a work ex of 3 years.
I have started exploring on my own and one thing that came out different were Case Studies interviews and I have started reading and preparing for them.
I will do MBA also post working in one of these firms.
I was hoping if anyone can help me to prepare better or suggest a plan to land a job for a role that aligns with my ambitions.

This is just to rant lol. I love my mother in law but in small spread out doses. My husband wants her to come and stay with us for six months. She can be so extra, she complains when I don’t immediately respond to her Goodmorning WhatsApp messages, we are in different time zones for crying out loud. Now imagine that for six months!!

Lately when we drink, he brings up getting married. I played along at first but have since told him this conversation makes me really uncomfortable, especially when one or both of us is drunk. I’m just not ready to get engaged yet. Is it unusual that I think a year and a half is too soon?
