Layoffs have started at Accenture, mostly senior managers. Any news to share?

I'm selected in Accenture and based on my technical experience M-9 designation Recived in offer letter

I have few below query:

1) Hows workload and rest of thing?

2) I read somewhere that Accenture have policy that every year they will layoff some associate project wise - This news is correct or not?

3) what about job security in Accenture?

The severance package at Meta for laid off employees almost makes it nice to be laid off depending on what your personal situation is….. personally wouldn’t mind getting 4+ months of full pay to reset and think about what’s next 😬

Was afraid I was going to be fired last week and after the initial shock and dismay I realized how relieved I felt to finally be free. Eight years in and feels like it’s finally time to move on. (Ctd)

What steps do you all take to prepare for layoffs (outside of an updated resume)? I’m not really expecting layoffs within my practice (fin services), but want to be prepared so that if it does happen I’m not spending months looking for a job.

How about reviews on job security in Accenture?? Glassdoor, Quora are full of negative reviews about layoff in accenture..

I was recently laid off due to being in web3 but the market tanked and screwed me. My background is aerospace quality engineering and digital transformation / product management. 4.0 MBA from ERAU.

Friend delayed her wedding due to coronavirus concerns. Was going to be in September of this year and now it’s going to be September 2021.

Had 3 rounds of interviews for a position at a place where leadership is all white. They said they loved me (a WOC) but decided to go with someone else who has more experience in the category.

What would be some other next steps as some1 who works in ad ops (as a manager). I know I can move up 2 being an Associate Director but I hear growth overall in the field is limited.
