I’m dealing with a lot of extra woke white women coming into POC spaces and taking up time and air and leaving little place for WOC in particular. They seem to talk over women of color and drive the conversation in ways they don’t do to men of color, and I’m frustrated by the trend.
This is what they have always done... we actually break down the door and they cake walk through it... i honestly believe every woke white woman is the Central Park Karen lying in wait

I don’t pay it any attention, unless someone is being blatantly disrespectful or speaking directly over me. With everything, there are those who are genuine and invested. So naturally, you’ll have those humans who are disingenuous and invested, but for reasons we might deem self-serving. That’s life. The key is to not let these few or thousand distract from the work and conversations at hand.
I’m glad they’re speaking up but their missteps sometimes kill me...sometimes in order to prove how woke they are they’ll call out EVERYTHING, including stuff that is actually not that big a deal, so they make woc look like we are crying wolf when something truly concerning does come up
Well, it’s not a secret that WW benefit most from D&I. I think some have a genuine interest in helping and changing the narrative for WOC. But most, are probably scared to lose their positions of privilege. IMO, it’s not enough to be not racist. We need anti racist WP that aren’t scared to give up their comfort to help underrepresented minorities.
I’m in a moms of color group and there was mention of how they’ve noticed WW are 1) doing more digital Blackface with their gifs and 2) all of sudden talking about how hot Black guys are when they hadn’t shown interest before. Are you guys noticing this too?

They’re just taking it all in and strategizing around it on how to stay in power. Trying to adjust and balance the karma penalties of their ancestors.
