Seeking advice for moving from industry leadership role (dr of training) into HC consulting. 20+ years in TD (L&D, PC, OCM). Industry roles for last 5 years but spent most of my career in small consulting orgs.
CPTD but no degree (long story, about 15 cr shy). Would you suggest addl cert (CCMP, SHRM-C)? Will the lack of degree a no-go or is there a way in while I finish? A Sr director role is being dangled. Would the title bump help with the transition or do I risk missing a hot market?

Maybe some perspective might be of use to me. I’m transitioning out of the service and I’ve positioned myself decently to be competitive in the market. I’ve got two offers from great companies. Biotech and Healthcare, both on the Human Capital Team as an Employee Relations Consultant. I have a graduate degree pursuing a Doctorate, LSSBB, ScrumMaster, SPHR, and PMI-ACP certified. I know this is personal and dependent, but what should I be considering as a commensurate salary?

I’m in the concept stage of my startup. My concept is a D2C services offering that would appeal to a broad market - I’ve discussed with friends and family whom I trust about my idea, all of whom have given me highly encouraging feedback.

Six months ago, the role of sole head of the business unit was advertised, interviews took place and after a lengthy process, the decision has been made to appointed my partner as the head, but no change the job grade! The reasons given are so that my partner may further upskill stakeholder management skills. Review in grading and salary in 6 months more. Is this reasonable?
