As far as I know alt travel is supposed to be within the US for us

Yes. I was on a project ( for 1 year) and travelled back home, once a month. However I managed to workout a good deal and could work remotely while I was at home - so 3 weeks on the road and 1 back home.

I’ve alt-traveled to Canada before, but feeling a little adventurous and may try London this month. Glad to see others have done so before.

Just ensure you get partner approval in advance as per the expense policy. A colleague of mine failed to, did international alt travel, which is against policy, and wound up getting stuck with the full cost of a long weekend in Rio. She says she would do again out of pocket though :-)

Have done back to back weekends in Europe while working in New York. Not recommended.

Multiple times 🙋🏼‍♂️

Out of policy - only continental US, Canada, Mexico, and US Caribbean Territories

I alt travelled to Asia lol

I alt traveled to Colombia

Hello, I have received an offer from Southwest Airlines as a Associate Technology Analyst with their direct college hire program. Will be graduating in May with a degree in MIS and also have internships experience as a Business Systems analyst intern. The salary compensation started off at 66,500 but was looking for the 75k range and they got back to me saying the best they can do is 68,500. They also have a 401k company match up to 9.3%. Do you think this is a solid offer for this job market?

I have an offer and want to negotiate

1. London base salary but I have to absorb all the expenses (train + stay)
I am thinking to negotiate to

2. home base salary and have my expenses paid for

I know that's depends on the amount I have to travel (and potentially stay) but at the moment this is unknown. Past 8 months was just twice a month + 2 nights stay.

The only thing I know is it won't be every week, the return trian ticket is about £80-100, depends I could plan ahead.

Experiential Marketing position, remote w/ some travel and 5 years of experience. Any idea of salary range?

I have a boss from hell. She’s the GM of my hotel and she is a mean girl that never grew out of highschool. She loves gossip. She will trash talk her employees with other employees and once her toxic garbage starts to leak amongst us peons she will send a group text telling us all to stop spreading rumors and to stop being bullies like she isn’t the mean kid with a magnifying glass torturing ants for no reason. I want to stand up but I’ve seen her retaliate on people who have tried to. Help.

Hi all,

I just got a job with Delta airlines and I had an accomodation request to work remotely as I am Immunocompromised. I provided all the neccesary documents to back up my request and letters and documents from my Dr. aswell. My request was denied because the team said they wanted me to have face time and one on one interactions with people from other team (which defeats the purpose of my request) because I have to limit those interactions to reduce the risk of infection. What do I do?
