Anyone ever flown Spirit Airlines before and paid extra for the “Big front seat”? This will be my first time flying Spirit Air and trying to gauge what it will be like compared to the AA, Delta, United as well as the bigger seats..Are they like first class?

I flew the big front seat back when I was in college. Flight attendant gave me like 5 free rum and cokes and I walked off the plane completely trashed lmao. Probably not typical now but I had a good time flying them back then 😂

Flying in the big front seats on spirit is superior to flying economy on spirit but not quite on par with being beaten repeatedly.

Did you confuse this for Google?

likefunny

Worth it, took it for a trip when I was younger, the back of the plane is a cattle car, these seats are somewhere between a normal economy seat and a semi nice seat, but it makes a massive difference if flying for more than 90 min

That actually doesn’t look terrible

I’d say almost as good as Deltas business class! /s

I’ve only flown Spirit once and on my return my mom and I got the big seat as assigned seating for free. It was a good amount of space to comfortably nap in. Doesn’t recline though.

like

It’s absolutely worth it. Took it LAX-ORD and was the most comfy I have ever been on any domestic non business flight

Row 1. Not looking too bad IMO.

Telling you my guy. It’s better than normal seats on the big 4 airlines

like

how much extra is it and how long is flight - depends on that

then likely worth it - I would do it and save that money somewhere else - maybe not eat out on few meals and spend in this instead.

like

Spirit will charge you for breathing oxygen on their flight

I thought it was a waste of money. The seat doesn’t recline so it’s really uncomfortable despite the size. The leg size is nice but they have cheap cushions and you can tell no matter where you sit.

Luggage delay claim question

I used Chase explorer to buy tickets for my vacation and luggages were delayed for a month. Per chase term I am entitled $100 a day for 3 days. But the claim agency chase used has been asking for airlines response, which has not came (2month+ now). I am concerned insurance will use this as an excuse to never compensate. Is there a good way to handle this situation?

Hello Sharks,

Can you please help me decide for the profile of senior software engineer between:
1.CGI - 22.5lpa Fixed + 1.5lpa Joining Bonus
2. Virtusa - 25lpa Fixed (Intuit client)

YOE : 5
Tech Stack: Python
I am a bit biased towards joining CGI but on the other side, Virtusa is offering more.
My preference would be good WLB & Job security.

Thanks in advance :)

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.
