Anyone ever experience being on a project where your supervisor or lead just tells you they don’t like your work and to just fix it without providing any reasoning or how to fix it? How did you go about it? I’m so miserable and I always feel like I’m not doing good enough but I literally have no clue how to improve and I have no guidance. I have ADHD and anxiety already and this is just heightening it all and I’m paranoid I’ll get fired at any moment…
If my client expressed great appreciation to my work, can I ask for tips? Maybe we should normalize the tipping culture across all service areas. Just a random thought
I accepted an offer at another big4(let’s call it A) and I currently work for big4 B. I won’t be able to put in my notice until next month. Today I learned that I got staffed on an audit client for YE. Which I won’t be working on much, but I have to roll with it for now since I can’t tell anyone. And I also learned that their provision preparer is big4 A. I won’t be working on this client after I transition to big4 A. Any issues if I just roll with it for this last month or do I have to disclose?
We are here to guide clients: but this is not always the case when your client believes they are the target audience for their product. How do you convince them that they are not and trust the agency?
Would you quit a company before you secure an offer? Is it too risky? Assuming you hate the current project so much.
My current manager will not let me roll off my project and continues to say that “I’m on track for promotion here” and that if I choose to roll off then he won’t recommend me for promotion. I’ve put in a lot of work here and find this extremely manipulative. Any advice on how to approach this?
Got a weird one for you - what's "business casual" for a client meeting? Last time my MD told me this, he showed up in a $2000 sport coat and everyone on client side was in a blazer

PwC, Deloitte, and BDO all in the same office working on the same client. It kind of reminds me of the Anchorman fight in Anchorman 2.
If you are not a partner, do any of the Big 4 have a mandatory retirement age? I have a friend who is working in industry and has been approached by a few firms as he has a very desirable technical skill set. He is in his 50's and doesn't want to make a move unless there is some runway to keep working. He basically could work as long as he wants where he is at. The pay increase would be significant for him to jump to but if he is mandatorily forced out in a few years it might not be worth it.
What is the best objective source for determining whether to get the COVID 19 vaccine? Looking for sources and raw data and documentaries. I’m not looking for opinions I am looking for references to a variety of medical authorities. I have masked up this whole time but admittedly have not done any research other than what I heard in the news. So now I plan to approach this as an objective question to answer like I would any thoroughly researched legal question.
DTE is telling me that I am not authorized to expense $3k worth of expenses. I'll sort it out through traditional means, but 🙄

I'm in a position where I don't like the tasks that are coming with my next promotion, but I really love my company (culture-wise). I have no idea whether I should jump ship or not.
