Hi everyone! Curious if anyone here works for Slack and can shed a little light on the culture and perhaps offer a referral for an associate brand manager position I just saw on LinkedIn. With the Salesforce acquisition are SF employees allowed to refer for Slack roles? Currently a senior analyst with 4 YOE looking to break into a branding role! Thanks in advance.

If you can't learn everything about the company, then learn everything you can about the industry they are in.
Ya, i sadly know way too much about BEVs 😤
My dad worked on the GM volt growing up, and we drove to school and soccer practice with a damn fire extinguisher in a retrofitted Chevy Aveo with a big battery in it in the 2010s.
So weird to see the tech my dad worked on that honest to god annoyed the shit out of me, come full circle and be all the rage 10 years later (BEVs). Everyone thought we were such a weird hokey pokey ass family for so long omg
Chinese ownership creates some risk, lithium market creates some risk (but American auto companies face business risks too). Strong player in the car battery field.
Ya the Chinese ownership is so interesting to me. The plant I worked at in ford used to be a mazda plant and ran by the Japanese. Every morning the entire plant would have to listen to music and do stretches cuz that’s how the Japanese roll. Wonder what weird quirks chinese company’s have.
Looks like a cool company. Definitely sounds like an interesting opportunity.
CATL is one of the largest lithium battery companies in the world. (LINK. https://elements.visualcapitalist.com/ranked-top-10-ev-battery-makers/) Its Chinese like a lot of people are saying but I'd say its probably has a promising future to keep growing since China has some of the largest lithium reserves in the world. I don't think I would turn them down especially since it would be a good experience to jump to other companies that deal in electronic vehicles
I honest to god could give less than a rats ass on BEVs at this point. I’m excited about their modular battery technology.
I’m a slut for public transit and kinda a hater for EVs atm. Detroit just has such such such shit public transit infrastructure and I’m salty that all this attention is going towards vehicles for the Uber rich — BEVs.
Uhhhhhghhg I’ve been trying to ESCAPE automotive. My dad, my mom, and both their fathers worked at automotive companies.
This company does seem so interesting though. Gaaaahd damnit
Ya I’ve also been in talks with the IAEA in Vienna Austria cuz I wanna get tf out of the US
I have no clear information about this company, but it looks like an interesting company. Good luck

coming here to say CATL is huge - one of the leading players in EVs at the moment
Ya I have discovered this too. When I told my Chinese friend from Shen Zhen bout this recruiter in my inbox he was like wtf they want to interview….. you? Lolol.
I lowkey want to work at Catl just in spite of ford 😅
