Not sure if anyone else deals with this, but I feel so inferior compared to my friends at medical school or those who went to Ivy post grads. I went straight to Accenture right after college and while I’m so grateful for having a good job, I just feel like I haven’t done enough and will never realize certain financial goals at the rate I’m going. The problem is I’ve never really been good at setting attainable goals and often get discouraged and feel as though I can never be “the high achiever”
Sister is mentally ill and born with brain injury. I'm sensing she's on her way back to psych ward, as she's displaying her crazy symptoms again. Not looking forward to this
I tried cutting for the first time. I don’t recognize myself. I want to take short term disability to “fix” myself. Therapy isn’t enough. I don’t know how to do that. Has anyone done it? Any advice?
Struggling with anxiety...anyone gone to a medical professional for this? Do you just go to a primary care doc first and then get a referral?
Hi! I have two offers and I’m not sure what to do. One is with a small firm that serves as outside counsel to medical practices (leasing, employment issues and acquisitions are primary work load) and the other is in-house for a pharmaceutical company (managing outside counsel, vendor contracts, privacy). The firm pays much better (1800 hours, flexible wfh) but I feel like the experience in house would go further in becoming a GC down the road. Please help!
Should animals (non-human) be allowed to own guns? Rhesus monkeys, for example. Why or why not? They could protect themselves from being forced into medical experiments.
Hi fishes, I am currently working with a Top medical device Org but currently there is no learning & no scope of growth here. On the other hand I received a big offer from a startup, which is doing good in India. So my question is, is it a good step to move from a Big US MNC to an Indian Startup ( doing pretty well). Will my profile be hampered when working with startup?
For those with HSAs, are you actively using the balance to pay medical bills? Or are you holding on to those funds and paying bills out of regular savings/checking? Is there an advantage one way or the other?
When did you start introducing solids? Paediatrician said today we should start at 5-5.5 months. This feels early and there is no medical reason.
I feel burnt out and it’s only been four months since I started.. ik, ik, it’s pathetic. But I’ve been feeling physically sick and mentally exhausted ever since busy season ended, and it only seems to
I have a chronic illness and WFH has saved my career. There is no way I would have been able to commute to and work in an office consistently. Now, none of my coworkers even know I’m sick.

What's your firm's sick leave policy?
Been on FMLA / short term disability for 3 months and doctor recommended 1.5 months extension. My firm refused the extended leave but we’re unable to provide reasons what the under hardship for the firm is. They are pressing me hard for alternative ada accommodation (anything but continuous leave) so I can get back to work. If not they will terminate me next day. Is it legal?
Does anyone feel guilty taking sick leave?
Question regarding Salaried Employees and sick days. I’ve never worked in a company where, as a salaried employee, I had to deduct SICK days from my PTO. What are your practices?

Has anyone ever majored in Medical laboratory science? If so, how do I network and find good opportunities to prepare myself as a college sophomore?
I lost my last job a few weeks before Christmas last year and it took me a long while to find a new one. Ultimately I ended up moving to a new city for a job I was really excited about. However, within the first few weeks I suffered a major medical setback which led to a crippling bout of depression. I am finally starting to feel like a person again but I'm afraid the ship has sailed on my having success in my new role.
Veteran | MBA candidate looking to pivot into D&I strategy. Thoughts on general HR vs diversity recruiting?
I’m just throwing this out there and I think it might be a common thought. I’m a mom of two (ages 5 and 3) and work full time out of the house in government making $103K. Job is not flexible in that it’s 8-5 with an hour lunch break butt in chair in the office work. Zero options to deviate or work from home. I have a 30-40 minute commute each way. I’m tired of feeling like the rat race and like I’m just paying someone else to hang out with my children. Anyone else feel like that?
Does Deloitte have any promotions with SPG or Marriott where we get some bonus points just for checking in? Heard EY and KPMG have something like that!

Have been pinged for a possible role as Director of Operations at a promising looking startup with a 50%% pay increase & equity. It looks like an amazing opportunity.. but my husband and I have just started trying for our first kid, and I'm not sure about leaving the stability and benefits of Big 4, even though I feel like I have run out of career growth here. Has anyone changed jobs at a similar point, or worked at a startup as a new mom, that might be able to share perspective or opinions?
If you're on a PiP, is it better to quit just before the end stage, when you get fired, or better to get fired and collect unemployment, but also have a company-based termination on your record
So I got an offer to do a Dphil program in machine learning from a top UK school, I also got an MBA offer here in the US. I am reading articles about how much AI researchers are making and I am pretty mindblown so I think I will choose it over the MBA. I hope I'm not completely blowing it.
