Anyone ever leave a REAL good paying job with great organizational structure for another company thinking it would be good and come to find you were lied to accepting a job for low pay performing tasks that were never discussed. I went from managing a team of developers to working as a chat associate basically. My communication skills have died, team dynamic is toxic and I’m really struggling to get out of this situation now because my family is dependent on me. Need realistic advice.

Start applying, that will give the comfort, it is going to get over.

I’ve been applying but I feel like it’s summer and hiring is slowing and I’m not landing many interviews. Probably need to work with a coach or something

I really want to try for baby no. 2 soon but now if I would start it would put me in my busiest month of January when the baby would be due. I already went down in hours this past year because of the pandemic and my Team had to pick up the slack. I also was told yesterday that the team struggled when I went down in hours. I really want to start trying because I want my kids closer in age. My daughter turns 2 in July so I would like to start soon so they are 2.5-3 years apart. I don’t know

Hi ladies, looking for advice on pivoting my career. Currently primary engineer for a system that supports 25k users across 200+ offices. I'm bored with IT. I'm a Jill of many trades, networking, wireless, voice, etc. I'm currently working on learning various netops tools. I like figuring out how to put pieces together but it's not much of a challenge anymore. I'm working on putting together a 5 year plan to move to 100 percent remote because my husband wants to retire and move. Advice?

Anybody has had any major client business related fails. For me an interesting one was we questioning CEO why they have not done (a rather obvious) cross sell to which he actually replied ‘we didn’t get around to it, but that feels like a good idea and an opportunity’ it probably costed the firm about 10-20% in profit p.a. for 10 odd years. I was amazed and horrified at the same time that he said it coz I would have been fired for much less
