Salary range of RBC grade 8 position in tech?
Hi Sharks,
I had first round of CITI interview this week and today I got a mail asking for documents submission. Does that mean this had only one round and I have cleared that? Generally documents are asked only when we clear all the rounds. Who has given CITI interview please let me know. Thanks..Citi

Hi,
My wife got an offer from PS for Graphic Designing job.
Designation - Senior Associate Process Solution Level 1
But there is a clause of end date and I am afraid that once this period is over they will fire her.
Is this a standard practice in PS?
HR and Director have assured her that this is a practice in PS and she will be converted into Full Time Employee after this period.
Publicis Sapient
Should she join?
Going to zero!

But at that point they know they're fighting a losing battle. Companies are learning to not reward being held hostage so just make sure you are actually ready to go before you make a threat of leaving. You will always be treated differently, it just doesn't work out.
How painful will it be to wait until the next raise cycle? I had raises that exceeded 10k.
Believe me when I say "I'm very loyal, I just work for whomever values loyalty the most." - Dwight Schrute, the office.
Costs the firm so much more to replace.
I feel like it would make the people you’re currently working with feel strange. Like you’re always going to just be looking for the money. Probably not a great look from leaderships point of view
THANK YOU! If we all had trust funds there would be a lot fewer workers.
I've seen people be successful at EY with this at manager level. That being said, puts a bit of a damper on your relationships witheadership and could hurt you down the line. In my view 10k is not worth it... It is a very short term play and you should focus on the long term. Especially since Thsys prob only about 7k after tax (at the most).
I was offered a position and I spoke with my superior and he was very honest with me and told me that he won’t be able to match so now I’m just going to leave the firm to get a better understanding of core tax.
Rarely works out. Don’t do it
My coworker did it last week. They matched a $15k offer, but it's a senior manager position so a bit higher up
KPMG is super cheap so (most likely) they won’t do anything. But if you wanna leave then ( means you should be ready to leave if they don’t match) let them know and they may match the pay.
It got me a 30% bump. My original offer was a 50% bump.
What level ?
If you would take the offer otherwise but like the firm, go for it. Worked for me! Seniors are in high demand now
I have only negotiated max of $5k increase. That seems to be the limit of what companies can stomach for an associate type position.
What about a manager position?
It’s all in how you phrase it. Try “I am very unhappy. They offered me more but it’s not about the money. What can we do to make this better?”
