Oh wow I had no idea! That’s something I’ll read into. I guess I am mainly bothered that it seems like everyone joins congress with a modest amount of wealth and it just grows from there. Meanwhile congress has a spending problem.

Side note all of us non home owners may be fucked

Why did Deloitte’s federal practice have layoffs? Given that the clients are large government entities. I can understand it happening in commercial but federal makes no sense

And you won't believe who they promote year after year.. the character, curiosity and quality of the lifers Don't join this firm if you for a love of learning and to be inspired. Join if you are a middling who wants a good brand to hack ahead in life and rise above your station

Working from home since march 2020, got promoted December, department had a major reorg couple of months back, responsibilities increased, work increased, hours increased. I just don't feel sleepy anymore, brain is always fired up with work, writing emails in my head in the bedroom post lights out. Anyone else with me?

I just made the switch to my new firm about 3 months ago and the partner and I have not gotten along.
