Anyone ever struggle with being "likable" at work? I've never had this problem before, but I don't seem to vibe with my team.

How do you set boundaries if you’re salaried with no OT?! I told my boss that I’d only be online from 8-6p and he finds that he isn’t getting enough support. I lowkey feel like telling him he needs two EAs but I guess you can tell how cheap he is because no OT. Any advice? (Ps, I’m aggressively job hunting because this ain’t it)

Had only one call with my TL in first two months. Few weeks later, on workday I noticed that my TL got reassigned. Contacted him and have setup regular catch-ups. He dropped a bomb that he is leaving and I will be reporting to partner. Partner is time poor and no feedback is offered. This is my first consulting role and I feel I am not receiving enough support. Few people are helping to learn the ropes but WFH has exacerbating the problem. At my last workplace, I had to follow up with an HR person six times to get something. Is it rude when I went up to her in person to check in again she literally told me “just go be busy and come back later.” 😡 she also was mad when I took my time for my ID photo (it’s just a picture), because I wanted to look good, but then had to go back and re-do my coworkers because his eyes were closed and he rushed his in comparison? Idk just venting🤭

At what point should I be worried about my ability or inability as a lawyer? I’m a first year, but feel as though my office has very high expectations from top to bottom. Often placed on cases alone with a partner who is too busy to answer questions. Other times mid-levels sort of deflect when they don’t clearly communicate what they want done (e.g., “draft part of this brief” and gets upset when it isn’t up to snuff).
