Yup. Two years later they hired me. Started at the beginning of December 2021 after being turned away in 2019.
I used the same recruiter both times. I'm sure she probably had discussions about it.

Yes. Didn't come up the second time around.
Applied and was rejected and told they filled the position. 6 weeks later, they reposted so I reapplied. Told me the person who they offered the position to backed out last minute and they were thrilled when they saw my application again. Was hired on the spot.

Yep and they forgot they interviewed me and gave me the offer the second time around lol

Yes. Twice! I also got ignored one year but at least got an interview when I reapplied the following year for an in-house gig.
Love the persistence!
Easily a dozen rejections from 1L to finally lateraling to the firm that made me partner. Keep building your legal CV, and past performance (particularly law school) will become largely irrelevant.

Yep. Outright denied by HR. Flash forward a few months and here I am.

Happens all the time. Most of law firm hiring is all about timing. If you applied to a law firm as a corporate associate in March 2020, they would have said no. If you applied again in December 2020, they would be begging to bring you on.
Right. Im asking more about when the interview didnt go well but you try for another shot later.
