Providence Health & Services Anyone looking to exit to industry? I’m a former Big 4 revenue cycle consultant now leading the net revenue valuation and analytics at a large West health system with two current openings. One is in the data shop (SQL, cloud migration, Clarity) and the other is on the analyst side (budget/forecast, variance/trend analysis). Offshore team for the grunt work allows us to focus on value-add, including collaboration with our data scientists on integrating machine learning into our processes. Providence Health & Services
Currently interviewing with Facebook (Meta) and looking for advice from other Technical Recruiters that recently joined. I’d be leaving a great company after less than 1 year, but I’d get the chance to upgrade my leveling (perhaps even mgmt) with the bonus of getting experience at a FAANG company. I switched as Senior and interviews didn't go into technical at all. Work is way different. Clients are way different - bigger and more issues that I didn't think about in advance because clients at mid-market were just too small to have those issues. It's worth it for me - learning a lot and having fun. Getting paid more and working less hours too as an added bonus!
I switched as a senior 2. The interviews were pretty laid back and felt mostly like a test to see if personalities clicked. I would imagine some interviews might be more technical than mine were, but my resume and area of expertise made it clear that I had the technical abilities for the job (you either know my area or you don’t). The work is more complex, comes in greater volume, has more variety, and moves faster. Despite being exhausted most of the time, I couldn’t be happier about making the move. The individuals in your immediate working group will ultimately determine whether you end up happy or not. The managers and partners in my group are supportive and recognize hard work which makes the effort invested in working long hours worth it.
Better benefits, greater brand recognition on your resume, and a variety of other things also make the switch worth it.
Yup. I switched from BDO.
How did interviews go? And at what level did you switch? Also, how does the work compare?
Yes, from RSM to Deloitte .
