I have an offer in hand and another company is about to make me an offer. I'm not so firm on my expected CTC - usually if I like the company I will compromise reasonably. I feel that HRs deliberately delay the communication after they ask me expected CTC - expecting me to follow up with them. So I don't follow up with them until they call back. I have 6 YOE and expect 24-25 LPA in Bangalore to which they hesitate. How to handle these situations? I'm very confident that I deserve what I ask for.

Based on 5’10” at 128 lbs and sedentary, the app estimated a daily budget of 1930 net calories; seems incredibly high. For those of you that have accumulated more data, how accurate have you found MyFitnessPal’s daily calorie budget to be?

I’m in my mid 20s and during/since college have been a pretty heavy drinker. Almost all weekends, some weekdays as well. Nothing dependent yet, but I did do dry january to kind of prove to myself that I’m not dependent and to re-assess my relationship with alcohol. I feel good and am proud of going the whole month so far, but physically I’m not noticing a huge change other than not being hungover on weekends. Anyone have encouraging words/advice/experience? Was it worth it?

For those who go to therapy whether online or in-person, when do you go while working full time?? Most therapists I’ve seen aren’t open on the weekends, but I feel like I wouldn’t want to be incredibly emotional and vulnerable in the middle of the day and go back to work?
