Need survival advice!

Newer (<5 years, untenured) SPED teacher here... teaching SPED with more than one subject assignment is literally impossible, let alone the 3-4 I’ve been given pretty consistently over the years. You’re asked to do twice what is even remotely possible and then harassed by admins when you don’t do one (1) of those things. It seems like no one has advice because they’ve accepted this as reality.

How do I make it to to the end of this academic year without blowing a gasket?

Trying to find a special education teaching position whether virtual or brick and mortar in the Atlanta Metro area

I have to work with 7 general education teachers at 2 different grade levels and set up instruction in stations of 3. I am so completely confused on how to set this up. Does anyone have a resource for an example? I’m a visual person so this is hard with nothing to start on!

Hello Teachers! I hope all of you are doing well to the start to the new school year. I’d like to ask those of you who are California special education teachers a question. IEPs service minutes lunch snd breaks being included in daily minutes.
64,800 min. are required number of service minutes per year( for grades 9-12), you divide that by 180 ( 180 school days) = 360. In those 360 minutes of their day ;lunch & break is included correct? I mean some students have that as goals in there IEP. Help

How does your resource classes work? Do you pull students into the resource room after they have had the main instruction to help them in the small group setting? Or.. do you actually teach the ELA and Math curriculum in the SPED room instead of them going into the General Ed class for ELA and Math instruction? Maybe something entirely different? I’d love to hear what you are doing and if it works for you.

Anyone else feeling overwhelmed, working 12+ hours a day and still not getting it all done? I also feel so alone working from home, I wish so much that we were in classrooms. Just feeling it, needed to vent.

I teach students with emotional disorders and having a tough time getting their trust. They all come from lives that I could not imagine. Please give me any and all advice.

Iowa uses the Internet for IEP progress monitoring data collection. In addition to collecting our data, we are required (or at least supposed to...) put our data into the computer every two weeks. The putting it into the computer in a timely fashion is where almost every teacher in our building struggles. I use a paper "spreadsheet" to see progress or lack thereof, but does anyone have tips for an easy process to input data into the doggone computer every two weeks?

Any suggestions on Reading curriculum to use in a Self-Contained (setting 4) EBD classroom? We are looking for something that is not online based.
