Augusta National is a decent track for golf

A1 I think you're thinking of Savannah

Lived there for a few years when I was in the military. Nothing but old architecture and cheap crappy drinks. The people are nice and their st Patrick's day parade is second only to Boston. But other than hat nothing ....

Lol you're absolutely right C1 I spent some time in Augusta for training. It's a quaint place.

Rowed Crew in college, and we did our winter training there every year. You can golf at the master’s golf course, but besides that not much but food related activities

Swamp walk is pretty cool if youre into nature. Might be a bit chilly. They have an augusta museum which isnt too bad either. Have a pretty nice farm to table restaraunt as well.

Rent out your house during Masters week

The strip club downtown was pretty decent when I used to visit it 15 years ago

I work on a small 4 person remote team- 2 peers and our manager. My 2 peers were recently hired and started in February this year. I actually trained them since I have held that position (Manager). I have been at the company for 6 years and moved to a Sr. IC role. My skip-level was previously my direct manager. My manager told us about a plan to meet up in person this summer for team building. It slipped in a meeting today that everyone but me is included in going. More in comments.

It's been a month n half since I got the offer and my joining is in mid of October. I dnt know why HRs of GDS are so inefficient, they dnt call/reply to your mails incase you have any queries...Seriously I have never seen such an unprofessional HR team..
I asked for Location change a month ago, and yesterday got to know that the HR who was handling my case left the org, now they will reconsider my request post my multple mails n calls...
1 more thing when will I get onboarding details..

Any moms who really badly wanted a girl but ended up with a boy(s)? How do you feel now? Do you still want a girl? Would you try again? Does it matter really, or was it just in your head?

Had a difficult relationship with my mom growing up, so always wanted that closeness with my future daughter. FTM having a boy and a little disappointed, but feeling guilty for that too. Difficult pregnancy so likely won't have another. But I want a girl. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Please no woke left gender drama responses. Thanks.

Has anyone tried getting out of their lease and been successful? I’ve been isolating out of the city for 3mo and will be here at least another 3mo, if not more. I live in one of those large/newer buildings managed by Greystar Properties as opposed to a townhouse. Any successful angles/negotiation tactics/DC laws that worked in your favor (relative to the public health crisis/pandemic) would be greatly appreciated. For context, lease technically ends Dec 9, but am looking to get out before then
