Switching jobs for the first time (late 20s). I have a 401k with PwC; new co doesn’t offer matching. Also have savings. Thinking I need to (1) decide if PwC or new co 401k has better funds before transferring the PwC balance (2) open Roth IRA and contribute max before 12.31, repeat next year and (3) put savings (less emergency fund) in an investment account. Thoughts / recommendations for the above?

Been at Deloitte for a year and I've had a horrible experience. I was sold the idea that I get to work on projects that are interesting to me and that I'll get to experience many industries and exposure to cutting edge technology. I'm reality, none of that has happened and I now regret turning down higher paying tech jobs in college for consulting. it's tough feeling duped but it also seems that analysts at other firms and even Deloitte have had a better experience. Did I just get unlucky?

I recently interviewed with a firm & in last round I was asked when can I join.
I told them I have already resigned from my current job (somewhat in btw the 2 mnth intrvw prcs) & can join after 3 mnths (stating that I need personal time off & anyways my notice period would have been 3 months)

Now I havent heard since the past 2 weeks. Could this be an impediment?
