Anyone experience exhaustion setting in at the end of second trimester? First trimester came with exhaustion like I have never experienced before and then most of second trimester has been more or less back to normal energy levels. Currently at 26 weeks and have been totally dragging for the past week or more. Does anyone have tips for getting through this?

I feel this right now. The insomnia came back and I think I may be catching a little bug. Have been sleeping in but still waking up at night and just feel beat thru out the day. In the middle of my 27th week and felt like this for the past week or 2. Hoping it gets better!!

For sure. Everyone says this is when you’ll feel good and I am just exhausted. Im glad I’m passed the nausea but at 28 wks my growing belly is uncomfortable and I’m just so so tired all the time and I can’t sleep as well at night now. I tend to sleep 1-3 hours mid day somehow. I hit a point of exhaustion I can’t stay awake anymore. Then at night I’m tossing and turning trying to get comfy. I’ve tried taking melatonin and magnesium to help with the discomfort.

No tips just here to say SAME and you’ll get through it! I’m at 36 weeks and just powering through being tired. If I’m busy enough at work it’s easy to stay distracted and awake but if I have a chunk of free time I have to make sure I avoid relaxing or even sitting on my couch (I work from home) or I’ll get instantly tired. If it’s truly bad I’ll take an hour nap right after work, but mostly I try to stay awake so it will help me sleep better at night (sleeping in third trimester is not fun nor easy). For me, I try to force myself to go for easy walks after work or run an errand just to keep myself moving

Anxious *non*-depressive here — what treatments and medications are available and effective?

I get a horribly anxious reaction to the thought of interactions that I need to have as part of the normal course of my job. It’s plain, irrational fear, and I know it’s holding me back. But I’m generally otherwise happy.

I have almost 2 YOE, I’m currently just start on my 3rd engagement and I feel depressed, I haven’t felt rested for a while as I haven’t taken pretty much any time off. So I had my NIPT and NT scans last week and I’ve been getting pieces of the results back from my doctor in the patient portal. All seems okay but I’m a bit confused. Does anyone know if FirstScreen is the same thing as NIPT? I was under the impression that NIPT was in 90th percent of certainty for Down syndrome but the result we got, labeled FirstScreen indicate 83% certainty so I’m confused if there are more results coming? I messaged the doctor but haven’t heard back yet.

In my third trimester and feeling a little insecure about how big my boobs have gotten. They are two cup sizes bigger than my pre-pregnancy size. And even though I’ve been eating healthy my weight gain is more than the recommendation. I’m so thankful to have a healthy pregnancy but as a lifelong athlete, the discomfort is setting in.
