I'm applying for a job that wants at least two business or professional references. Thing is my current job is my first job out of college and I don't want them contacting my current employer. Who am I suppose to list as a reference? Leave it blank although they personally asked for references? List college professors? Ask a coworker to be a reference and not spread work I'm leaving?

Will there be any work from home assistance ? Will it be mentioned in offer letter ?

Would you feel comfortable telling HR that your service line’s culture sucks and name the individuals who cause it? Or is a better approach saying it’s the leadership in general creating a negative and toxic culture? How effective are these conversations really? Trying to assess if there’s any point in bringing this up. Obviously HR works for the company and an employee sharing their thoughts on the unsupportive, cold leaders could bite me in the long run.

I’m in a tier 2 city where there are literally just two or three companies that you can work at. There are few boutique firms too which have very few openings all the year round. I really want to work for a FAANGM firm as the pay is much better than my big 4 salary. How do I go about convincing that I would like to wfh from my tier 2 city?
