Please suggest me what to choose, having 5.5 YOE, recently married 4 months back.
Got an offer from LTI - Pune & De Shaw - Hyderabad
LTI,Pune - 20L fixed, 2L Variable, 45k JB
De Shaw - 22L fixed, 2.5L Variable, 2L JB
Note :
1. In LTI, I am getting Cloud and Infra Domain
2. In De Shaw, Linux and Networking profile
Benefits wise De Shaw is incomparable to LTI.
My major concern is technology and location, how is hyderabd to relocate ?
In long term De Shaw is good, but what about after 5 years?

I think everyone face this in life. You have to be strong to face💪🏼
Yes it's more of budget only
Bhai mereko offer letter ke baad mana kar diya
Did you resign already?
How much compensation they gave
The jack of all trades Oracle did that... Apne aap hi 100% hike diya bina puche... Phir khud hi na kar dete hai... Choti bachhi hai kya!!!
What's your cctc and how much did u asked for
@IBM3 in my case i got call from TCs project team and they scheduled interviews, and after cleaning all round TCS HR is giving me only 20% hike despite of i am having an offer of 50% hike already..
Lol, for me, they didn't even responded after last round. And whenever I used to call, they rarely picked my call and at that moment too, they used to say, we'll get back to you. And now they are calling, but I've stopped answering now😌
@ AM 1, so recruiter leaving the job in the middle of hiring is one other headache to be foreseen 😞
7 times (Oracle, TCS, Coforge, Nagarro, Ericsson, Virtusa, Altisource) it happened with me in last 2 months.. but still got 6 offer letters (TSYS, Capgemini, Accolite, Cognizant, Landis+Gyr, Citius Tech).. so the trick is move on quickly from whatever has happened and keep going hard till you get the final end result in your favour.
TSYS I have selected finally
Try to get 1 offer with whatever package they can offer and then you can give interview and ask for 20% more on the current offer. I think it's becuz of budget issue you are getting stuck
If you are getting rejected after hr round one thing is sure that it is related to budget. You can try to reach out to hr and ask them whats the max budget. If you want a job in Bangalore only then you have to comprise a bit.
It may not be rejection...may be like they kept u on hold for the position...which company did like for u?
there is nothing positive about the status "on hold". it basically means "not selected". In rarest of the rare cases it might offer might come to you, but most likely they found someone else with better skills or someone willing to work for a lesser cost to company(ctc).
A well known BFSI organisation didn't provide the offer to me even after completing background check process.
Completed two rounds of interview, HR discussion before that as well.
This is the strangest thing I have encountered in my career so far.
Thankfully I had other offers in hand.
Might be a case of slowdown..But they are generally slow in rolling out offers.I got mine after nearly a month
🙋♀️
Same happened to me with Infosys, After 3 rounds and agreeing on the salary they rejected. YOE-12 Hike-50%
If they get anyone less than for what you are asking, they will go with that Candidate, that is the law of HR. You should be knowing that by now. It doesn't matter that you have attended 4 rounds or 10rounds, or you have amazing skillset.
YOE -7
Reasoning for not releasing offer , even after 1 week of LWD
jpmorgan - we dont have budget you asked(26 LPA) , we hired other candidate 3 days back in parallel
oracle - we are still waiting for approval
persistent - tried to negotiate 26 LPA to 23.4 , didnt agree , says we are still waiting for approval
itc infotech - asked 28 , could give 26 LPA , did not go ahead with them
I believe there is Global hiring freeze announced in october first week
Where did you join after lwd
Better ask how much HR can offer
Two of friends got rejected.
I was ghosted once after clearing all the rounds and when they finally picked up my call after few days, HR started blaming me that they were trying to reach but I was ghosting them.
It happened to me also from TCS and Elxsi
Happened to me at Nomura. Tech rounds were clear. I told about my expectations in second tech round. HR said, they don't need HR round.
But they were interviewing other guy, whose salary expectation were less. They never told me that my expectation was higher than their budget.
Other guy cleared all the rounds and he was chosen over me due to salary expectations.
Swiss Re did same with me. After technical rounds, HR gave me a call saying that, "Congratulations, you're selected, blah blah". Even though I had already told my expectations before 1st round to recruiter, i was asked my expectation again and this HR was fine with that, he said they give 40-45% hike easily. He gave me a list of documents to send to him. I did send him. And after that the HR and recruiter both stopped replying to me over call and mail.
Once i checked the career portal and they had rejected me saying "Candidate withdrew application". I wrote them a mail with the screenshot, they started giving stupid reason of some org realignment and they'd have contact me in few days.
Question is why they couldn't just say that earlier when I tried reaching out to them for 2 months.
Anyway, in the end I felt really great by not leaving Fidelity and joining those people. And I told them this at their face.
So, yeah until and unless you get the offer on your mail id, don't be Happy.
How is Fidelity investment as a company to work for?? I always wanted to know that.
