Anyone familiar with ESET- elective single embryo transfer. I’m reading through Aetna’s infertility clinics bulletin and saw this mentioned for anyone under the age of 35 who have no prior IVF cycles or who have had a previous IVF cycle that was successful in producing a pregnancy (i.e., documentation of fetal heartbeat) and who have excess embryos of sufficient quality to warrant cryopreservation... see comment for adtl details

Cont... For women who meet these criteria who elect transfer of a single fresh embryo, Aetna will consider transfer of 1 cryopreserved embryo immediately subsequent to the fresh embryo transfer as part of the same IVF cycle, under plans that limit the number of IVF cycles that are covered.

My first IVF attempt failed while I was under 35 and we paid out of pocket for the next frozen transfer because we didn’t want to use up another attempt. The frozen embryo was cryo so now I’m wondering if I would’ve fit the criteria for this

How do you keep all of your notes-to-self organized? Not actual work product or drafts, but the kinds of things you jot down in meetings or as you’re working (e.g., “client prefers DE choice of law over NY” or “x agreement is best example of negotiated MSA”). I’m using OneNote, but I’m curious how others do it.

HCG vs. Lupron trigger - based on your experience, have you found a difference in egg quality? I did a cycle with dual and one with just Lupron. Recovery was much easier on just Lupron but egg quality was poor (vacuoles, grainy, thicker membranes etc). For the next cycle, doc is suggesting going back to dual trigger. I have been on the antagonist protocol. Wondering if we should try a different protocol vs. switching the trigger. Thoughts?

I had a surgery for ectopic pregnancy about two weeks ago and I’m still insanely tired. To add before the surgery, I was given one dose of methotrexate and my hemoglobin tanked from 13.8 to 10.8 between the first blood test ( May 1st week) and the last ( June 1st week). I think my tiredness is cause by a mix of low hemoglobin, methotrexate, and surgery. Any advice on how to get my energy back would be appreciated.

My lining got to 10 during all of the retrievals and I have regular periods, and I’m doing IVF for genetic issues not fibroid/polyp or hormonal issues. How likely am I to end up with a live birth?
