TCS offered me a Data Engineer Profile with usual hike, will be getting around (3.75).
I had asked for 6 LPA to stay back.

What if they give 4.5 or so ....

I want to create a data visualization portfolio, but I’m not sure where to begin. I work in urban planning and wanna do more urban analytics kind of stuff. I’ve been having the worst experiences with my interview 2nd and 3rd round for the various companies I’ve attempted to work for and with, the position are typically motion graphics/graphic design, 3D generalist, illustrator, and a few art director positions.

Does anyone have any advice? Is my work not diverse, enough is it too diverse?

Got an offer today...

Applied for a mechanical engineering position. Salary range was 65-75k a year. When asked about salary during the first interview, I replied 70k is my number. Later I found out that since it's a small company no health benefits would be provided, but 10 PTO days are included. Had I known about the lack of health benefits and 401k match I would have increased my bottom.

The offer today was for 70k but now I'm not sure if I should try to negotiate for another 2-3k?
