Can anyone shed some light on EY’s Strategy and Transactions senior associate salary? Looking to join as a business valuation senior.

Deciding on whether or not I should take a boutique consulting firm’s offer. Much better than my current salary prospects and seemingly much better culture. My only fear is that of getting pigeonholed into my field and never be able to exit from consulting if I ever wanted to in the future.

Can exits from boutiques still be interesting?

Do you already have to know what to do etc, keep getting asked what level I am despite vague requirements when I ask questions or express concern/confusion. How autonomous do I have to be?
