Anyone familiar with PT, or previously coming off of shoulder and/or calf muscle injuries? Looking for some good strengthening exercises. My shoulders have been bad for the last few years (played D1 tennis). Both are bad though, sometimes on both sides the shoulder randomly pops out of place and there’s a tearing sound periodically Have a full ROM. for my calf, I ruptured my plantaris tendon and tore some muscle 8 months ago. It still doesn’t feel the same. Surgery wasn’t recommended for either

Shoulders for me (swimmer with an unstable joint) has been a lot of working the muscles around it to keep it stable. Lateral raises, rows, lay pull, those annoying rotator cuff things where your elbow is at 90 degrees at your side and you work on internal or external rotation (I don’t know the name). You can always go to a few PT sessions and then do the exercises at home. I went 13 years ago and still use the same exercises.

So I’m 2 days post d & c after a missed mc (approx 6-7 weeks, had the procedure cause meds didn’t work fully). How did you restart trying to conceive ? I think I’ll be comfortable with intercourse In 1-2 weeks and won’t be truly “trying” until after my next period which is expected in 4-6 weeks. So much conflicting information out there. Me and my husband were planning to start trying to have a baby from next month. With this COViD-19 situation right now we are thinking of we should wait for few more months and see if the situation gets under control. Data related to CoViD -19 in pregnant women and new burns is very limited. Plus hospital visit during pregnancy and having family around to help out may be challenging if CoViD -19 lingers longer than expected. I am 34 and hubby is 37 body clock is ticking as well - tough decision.

Hey everyone! I’m getting my follicles measured for my first IUI this coming Monday- as I’m reading through all the posts it appears that the washed sperm count needs to be above 5M? I’m 37, my husband is 34- I’m starting to get really nervous about this working. My husband is not wanting to incur the cost of IVF even though a big chunk is covered my insurance, nor is he a fan of trying any of this all together. I’m having a lot of issues focusing and staying on task. I often start something get distracted and totally forget what I was doing. my brain is like in constant short circuit. I’ve tried things like the pomodoro method, deleted distracting apps, everything I found online but nothing helps. I’m traveling again for work and while it took me a while to get back into it, I’m almost as efficient as I was pre-Covid. My issue is that when I get home, I am exhausted. It feels like it takes me a day to recover from any travel that is more than an overnight trip. Last week my dog was officially diagnosed with cancer. She’s going to be 13, the cancer isn’t curable. She’s my first dog.
