Anyone familiar with the Innovation Analytics (Knowledge Team) at BCG?

Hi everyone! Due to an acquisition, I recently had to take a paycut to join the new company. Because we were being acquired, I wasn't allowed to talk to HR or at least my boss wouldn't let me, about salary and negotiate it. I'm wondering if I should tell my new boss about the financial hit I recently had to take. If so, how do I approach it?

What does it mean when you file for weekly unemployment and they ask about any weekly earning “excluding self employment”? What if you just worked on a freelance project for a couple of days?

So I currently work in car sales, but I just don't have the motivation anymore. I want something that's a bit more exciting ahopefully less hours because I work most of the time. I am very good with solving problems and fixing things but u don't want to be a mechanic. I also want to create more incomes, hence why I want slightly less hours. Need advice:

I'm debating between a Deloitte USDC role as a Software Engineer for 100k + 5k bonus and a small but established private company for 110k, which is fully remote with no expectation that I have to move at some point. Health/Dental/Vision, 401k and PTO are pretty similar.
