What is everyone's company standard salary increase for promotion? Found out today mine is 12% and anything higher must be approved by a VP.
Is a salary raise from staff2 to senior1 higher than a raise in another year as staff? assuming you are a high performer and want to stay as staff to learn more?

I feel absolutely broken by this job. But, I cant leave because I'm only an SC and I don't have an MBA. And despite 10 years of experience, 6 of which are Big4, I seem to only be qualified to be a VP.

It's been a challenging year for me, including a rejection from GSAP. This week, I got into my top choice MBA program - and an M7 to boot! Just goes to show that sometimes Deloitte's decisions can be misaligned to the greater world. I hope that Deloitte gives me the chance to be a good brand ambassador - but at the point, it's up to the firm if I even consider coming back :)

Hi, I’m a Manager at Monitor Deloitte India and am interviewing with Bain Middle East next week. They have indicated that they are looking to hire for KSA and Qatar offices (instead of Dubai). Question 1: How is Bain’s in Strategy consulting among other consulting firms in Middle East? Question 2: How would Bain Middle East compare to Monitor India? Question 3: How does experience in Middle East offices differ? Would experience in Dubai office be vastly different from experience in Doha/Riyadh?
