What does being terminated as an associate look like during WFH? Our office is having a serious drop in billable hours. If one of us was terminated, how awkward is it to get things from the office?

Anyone familiar with the comp package for a strategy role at either Square or MasterCard?
If I directly bring a new project or client into the agency, is it reasonable to ask for % commission of their SOW? Or at least, some sort of bonus?
11 weeks pregnant w my first and just received "healthy" results from my nipt screening. Yay! Did any of u moms do additional testing even tho the nipt was good? For added context - downs syndrome is present in my extended family
Fed contractors, do you ever have issues with your client comp saying their virus protections are out dated? Haven’t used mine for like a week or two but this obviously doesn’t seem like a good thing

Putting in my notice tomorrow. It’s been a fun ride, but happy to be leaving for a modest raise, accompanied by realistic working hours and actual work-life balance!
Do recruiters typically call you to reject you? A recruiter told me they’ll reach out to me today once they receive feedback. The interview was yesterday.
Got on a direct flight that ended up being delayed 2 hours past when my connection would have gotten me home....Thursday man...

Smart people who know about technology: 🙏🏼 I want to get 11.5-14 inch monitor to add to my (1) laptop and (2) second monitor. I’m worried about the monitor having a high “processor” and slowing down all my programs (including the program I use to login to my office desktop). Can someone point me to a monitor that may work?
60M people need to be vaccinated. Offering them $1000 each would cost this country $60B. Realistically, you can get to half of that population — $30B. One booster shot for 250M people at 80% uptake — $200B. For $30B - $230B, we can end the pandemic in the USA. Worth it? Edited: add in $5M for an MBB to do this math and put it in a PPT for you. And $50M for a big 4 firm to implement, botch, reimplement.
Are there any women in this group who are reduced time in a transactional practice at a big law firm? I’d love to hear if you’re glad you made the switch or not, what has worked, what hasn’t. I’m contemplating moving to 80% now, and maybe 60% after I come back from a mat leave for my 2nd kid next year. FWIW, my practice group leader seems very supportive of whatever I choose and I am not up for any promotions for the foreseeable future.
For those of you who are in-house, how did you get comfortable with needing to be more of a generalist? I know some in-house roles, especially at large companies, are specialized. However, even then it just seems like you’re expected to know about so many different areas (with far less support than at a firm). I’m tired of billable hours, but I really love (& feel more comfortable) being a specialist.
