Oh man the lighting is a big one. I prefer warmer light so that's what I have at home, and I have nice big windows. Our office has big windows with blinds that are almost always down, and it's all bright white lighting that gives me a headache.

I prefer working from home and get a lot done here. I like that I eliminate my commute and save time in the day from that. I also like the flexibility of being able to take a break to load the dishes or do some laundry.

My dog is kind of barky so he can be annoying and distracting sometimes though. I also miss being able to walk over to people and ask questions or bounce ideas around.

Totally agree. I am so much more efficient from home. We hotel in cubes and there’s no escape from constant noise, no privacy, and hard to get lost in the work because everyone walks up behind you to talk to you and a few times it’s scared the living daylights out of me. Even being client side in a conference room is easier to concentrate than the office. I’ll admit as an adhd brain this is my biggest struggle that causes me the most frustration.

Feeling lost in my 20s - wondering if anyone else feels similarly. I have a great job, boyfriend, friends, etc, but I feel like I am consistently bored in my career after a year at any job passes.
