Interviewing for a role at a big Asset Management firm, but not sure yet if I’ll like it. For people working in AM, what do you like about it? How does it compare with other finance jobs (WLB, fast-paced or not, compensation, etc)

It’s getting harder and harder to be motivated for work. Managers keep piling on work with no compensation and people are quitting left and right. I feel like I’m at a dead end. My work ethic is AMAZING and I feel like I’ve sold myself short with this job, but it’s like nothing else in my field interests me. I’m trying to pivot, put in so many applications and I hadn’t heard back. I feel like giving up.

I’m a 3rd year associate heading into my 4th year. Litigation is not for me. Is it too late to switch to transactional work? What steps do you recommend I take to make the switch?

I’ve been an LPN for 8 years, predominately in pediatrics, both in patient and home healthcare. I’ve worked in medical offices for 10+ years before that. I was looking to explore options outside of bedside nursing/direct patient care, do I have many options? I saw another similar post but the OP is an RN, and I didn’t know how much that information would apply to me as an LPN.

Can anyone who currently holds the CoS title share what the pathway looked like for them to get there including prior roles and education background as well as the organization you work for (if comfortable) as this title seems to be rapidly phasing out. So i work at this company in coimbatore (india) and we have a very poor work life balance. We have a 6 day working policy and no vacation or sick leaves just 1 day casual leave a month. We usualy had to work around 10 to 12 hrs and no leaves even during govt holidays. How can i make them understand this is killing our personal life. I have already shared a couple of emails to hr and CFO of our company to no avail. Please advice on what should I do next

My college's HoD forwarded a mail for on campus placement of hsbc for batch of 23, she knew that I am very interested in jobs in financial institutions(like banks etc). I spoke with her, she told me, "fill up toh karde, fir HSBC ke haath meh". So, I filled it up and applied for hsbc.
