Haha no, it’s probably a codeshare with United or Air India or something

Lol, thanks. I didn’t want to fly United or air India and was relieved for a second when I thought I had other options 😅
You can fly Delta from NYC or any US major city via AMS or CDG to other major city in India

Why not fly one of the ME3 via Doha, Dubai or Abu Dhabi? Not direct, I know, but the best service and comfort in the skies

Prefer a direct flight, might pick that route on my way back.
Direct flight from ewr = Air India or United. No other options. Just before the pandemic, Delta had started a direct flight to Mumbai from jfk but not sure if they shut it down during the pandemic
Try the delta from JFK to BOM.
That’s on hold rn

I’d fly delta and collect those points!
Code share flight... I will do any of the Middle east airlines if okay with stopover. Generally better than US or European airlines.
I would avoid those as requirements keep on changing. Preferable to take direct. I had few friends book United or AI for less than 3k in business. Not a bad option.
What is the issue with United? No layover, direct flight. The only thing I don't like is their one bag requirement.
Yeah. Even I prefer Emirates and similar, but prefer united for Ewr - Bom route.
I'm alaska 75k miler. Alaska doesn't fly to India (BOM) directly. It used to have Emirates status/miles share program... now it has American code share.
In my opinion, Emirates is a better option (for comfort). If they are not flying, then American or Cathy Pacific.
