I have an interview with a COO(Chief Operating Officer) tomorrow for software developer position in McKinsey. This is my 4th Round, what should I expect ? How far I am from my selection? The recruiter mentioned that the round is going to be a technical one, she also said that there will be another round after this.
I have recruiters reaching out to me for new roles and after a screening call I get the interview. A question that I always get asked is why, after 6 months of working at my current firm, am I looking to move. Should I respond along the lines that HR reached out to me?
This election will be a mess. Is Joe Biden just the democratic version of trump? He’s out here doling our black cards now?
Can nailing a first round interview compensate for a mediocre resume for an entry level management consulting job? Mediocre college, 1.5 years financial operations, good track record
During interview, can you ask if the company has plan to go IPO or is that bad question to ask?
It’s been 3.5 weeks since my last round of interview for an operational risk Goldman Sachs, I’ve tried to reach out to the recruiter to follow up for a status update but been ghosted ever since, should I move on from that role or is it a normal turnaround time for that company?
Still waiting on a written offer but sounds like I will be offered a manager role (current senior) in a different SL. I’m expecting right (25 weeks). I applied for the role in October and it took them months to get the okay to have the role remote, I didn’t think it would happen. Did interviews last week. When do I say I’m expecting? I was planning on waiting until after the written offer? Thoughts?

Ghosting after on-site interviews is despicable. Recruiting has been a part of my job for years in addition to resourcing & project management, and I would always manage to reply emails.
Currently an M and a recruiter reached out for a Sr D position at a company with 4K employees. Am I psyching myself out or should I prepare like it’s any other interview? Even if I excel, am I setting myself up for failure with such a large progression?
Anyone worked at Accerta in Toronto before? I have an interview with the recruiter from Ian Martin on Monday April 18th at 1130 am.

If anyone is interested in pursuing an IB summer internship for summer 2023, especially freshman and sophomores, recruitment and preparation season is NOW
How to approach it?
1) Network - send out coffee chat emails to alums or any professional at the firms you want to apply to
2) Prep technicals, behaviorals
3) Insights/Diversity programs - look for any that are still open and apply ASAP if you qualify, they can lead to an accelerated interview process
4) Find when apps usually open
What are the best websites and youtube channels you can recommend for interview preparations ?
Tech : Java microservice developer

Recently signed a full-time offer with MBB (starting fall 23) and will be studying until then.
However, as I usually spend 20-25h/week on my studies (a lot more in exam periods), I am looking into things to do for the next year.
How would you spend the year? (E.g., travel, sports, internships, volunteering). During my studies, I have been working various internships/student positions but not sure if I should do that for the next year.
Could use some help brainstorming ideas.

Looking for some perspectives. We are thinking about relocating from Dallas to Philly in the next few months. We are in our mid-40s with an almost 1yr old and 2.5yr old. We both can work from anywhere and are looking for a bigger house as well. Dallas is appealing because we are closer to family, have more friends, centrally locates if travel re-starts & major hub that can also get us overseas if we want. Philly is home for the past 10 yrs, not many friends, further from fam....contd
