McKinsey 🐠, any intel on the Practice Manager role? I've had a phone screen and been invited to interview, but I know little about the role. Sounds mostly internal, but they can deploy PMs to projects if needed. How is pay and WLB? Is this kind of role suitable for people with top 10 MBAs and client facing consulting experience at a non-MBB firm?

I’ve been a general manager for a convenience store for almost 2 years now. I have raised profit after variable expenses by 13% compared to last year, and exceeding budgets in almost every category except for turnover. I got an 11% raise last year, but still only make $55k. My store profits about 17k a month on inside sales, and 160k a month in fuel. I think I deserve more, but I don’t know how to ask for it, and don’t know how to begin a job search aside from indeed. I’m a recent graduate of masters and currently have 2 offers in my hand.

1) One with CITI Bank with 100k salary and no sign on bonus and as it is in my home town as I stay with my family needs no relocation bonus required.

2) This is with American Airlines in Dallas Fort Worth which offered 100k + 10k bonus + 18k relocation bonus (required)

Which ofer should I consider given I’m a new graduate and this is going to be my first job. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Is it bad to ask a recruiter to put me in the running for a totally different role, alongside the role that I'm semi far along in the running for? The roles are within different companies that share a parent company that the recruiter works for.
