They content. 💁🏼

Do you have any openings?

I'm hoping someone from Content chimes in because I'll explain this badly. But they're basically the investment team buying the more custom stuff from publishers. So a custom sponsored gift guide would fall under them, but also often more integrated things like a contest featuring a client's product and centered around the campaign's theme.

In my late 20's, but I've lived in my current city (nonUS) my whole life. I was really looking forward to moving to NYC and landed a job there earlier this year although I'm still WFH and not in the US yet. A recruiter reached out to me for a new role but it would be in my old city. I'd be pretty fine with both roles themselves. But the NYC one would pay about 140$ TC (not sure about bonus yet, this is a guess), and the non-NYC one would be maybe $25-30 more. Is the $ worth the city sacrifice?

What is the salary for EY-TAS in Toronto? For a senior consultant post MBA?

Can a principal ask a teacher to use some of their planning time to write late students tardy slips when they get to school every single day? Keep in mind this is the only planning period the teacher gets and it’s only 50 minutes long.

Any single moms who raised boys? My first kid, I grew up as an only child with no brother, and really clueless as to how to raise a boy. I’d have an easier time with a girl since I kinda know how

2 years in, doing change/training work for WD implementations. Performance cycle came down to knowing the right people and was screwed despite the good work. Any advice on exiting this culture? If it’s all the same, would like to go to a company more aligned with strategy and be compensated for the effort put in atleast.

TFW a "senior copywriter" writes "your" instead of "you're". Proper usage: Get your shit together or you're fired.

I know tech salaries are lower but equity compensation makes up the difference. But does it really make up the difference if you’re making $200k plus salary in a non tech job?

I only plan on staying in consulting for about 2 more years then off for an MBA. Would it be more worth it to take a level and pay raise at a different big4 moving to senior level rather than going to associate/analyst level at MBB? These are my two choices at the moment. I want to position myself best for post MBA jobs in industry. Salary will def be lower at MBB compared to the senior level at big4 so not sure if it’s worth the trade off in experience.

Hello! I just found a job in IFS at PwC that I’m very excited about as it really aligns with my passion and skill set. Would anyone be able to share insights on the culture? And is compensation comparable to external consulting?

Can anyone provide any insights on the kind of case studies in finance interviews in fintech and tech Finance (Finance Manager) roles. What kind of modeling skills do interviewers focus on through case studies. Is it more like 3 statement financial statements or Customer Acq Cost and LTV calc. Any tips would be helpful

Met a guy a few weeks ago and had an instant connection, but it’s a fair certainty he’s going to be living in another city starting in 2022. Worth it to keep talking or see where it goes or just cut losses now? Hung out over a week and a half before he went to his parents for thanksgiving and the holidays (he works remote), and it was— fun and the physical attraction was def there. We also just seemed to relate on a lot of things.

How important is it to workout with a trainer if you have weak joints/cant do a high impact exercise. I did nothing for a yr - now my knees hurt, my butt burns while sitting, my ankles crack, the list goes on... I tried physical therapy but the 4 sessions I went to - I mean not worth the $100+ that I had to pay (post insurance). At this point, I'm wondering if it makes sense to get a personal trainer and to ease the transition back to a somewhat consistent workout schedule. Fully vaxxed btw...
