You have more than sufficient technical skills to be an SE here (I'm an SE). I would say it's a question of how much experience you have being customer facing and building relationships.
The technical part is a huge plus, but people skills are most of the job. You’ll be running discovery and will need to think creatively how a customers problems translate to the product.
My advice is have a great story
Sounds like you’d do great in the role. I think as long as you present well you’ll crush it.
