Hey there! I am an athletic trainer that works in the clinical setting. I currently make $24 per hour. I am a recent graduate with my masters degree and have been with my company for 5 months. Does this salary seem low/high?

Have any of you taken "low bono" clients while working at a firm? I want to take on a low bono client or two but not sure who would get the money. This is a contract opportunity through a non profit so I'm assuming a 1099 will be issued. The per hour rate is significantly less than my billable rate. I would (obviously) like the money but my real objective is just getting experience/networking since I recently moved to a new state and don't have clients of my own.

I have interviews coming up at BD in Maryland and, coming from the hospital world, I have no clue what salary to ask for. The position is a scientist/quality role for microbiology research and development. For context, I have 4 years of experience in a hospital blood bank and am a certified Medical Laboratory Technologist. I was thinking in the 65-70k range, but the recruiter made it seem like that was easily attainable so I’m worried I’m asking too low. Would 75-80k be do-able?

Been in the industry a while, current Head of DSPV and looking to jump back into FT work. Non-MD so it’s hard to find companies that will hire me even though I teach in grad school and headed for my PhD. Any thoughts? Openings?

I will be finishing my PhD in Molecular Oncology (4y) around spring and I have started to look for a job afterwards. Right now I´m based in Spain but I will move to NY upon thesis defense (will hold all the necessary papers to work in the in the US).
