Does anyone have advice on pivoting away from hospital administration and into other opportunities within healthcare (i.e. consulting/strategy/program management etc.)? I've been a service line administrator for 3 years and working at a large hospital system for 6 (post MHA) but I'm not getting anywhere when I apply for roles outside of hospital operations. I get called back for other hospital ops roles but I can't even get a phone interview when I branch out...

Lately I’ve been feeling pay by bracket policy is very counter productive. When I came from my prev company, I had salary at the higher bracket due to market correction and novartis offer coinciding. Now after a couple of years, I see that people who were hired before or after me on a lower package have somewhat similar package as me cause of the pay brackets despite me performing better. Should I talk to my manager explaining my predicament? Or should I simply search for another job?

I graduated in June with a dual BSBA in healthcare management and human resources management/organizational management and two associates degrees in business and arts. I have twelve years of experience as a certified clinical medical assistant.

I'm having trouble finding my first job as a healthcare manager. After submitting many applications and receiving so many rejection emails, I've become frustrated. Any advice anyone can give is greatly appreciated.

I have below 2 offers.
Optum (grade 27)-32.8lpa (Fixed - 26.2, pf - 1.26, variable - 5.25) + 2lacs JB
JPMC(grade 602) - 25lpa (pf - 90k)
I am more interested in joining JP. But there seems to be a big difference in CTC. There is no variable mentioned in JP offer but probable12% bonus.
Which one is a better choice. Will JP revise my CTC. How and when to approach them and what's least I settle for. Joining date is 14th Sept for both.

Hi Fishes, I got a call from a consultancy (Avigna AB) about an on site opportunity in Sweden. In the initial discussion, they mentioned that that the visa processing shall take 2-3 months, during which I'll be paid Indian salary. Their upper limit for Indian salary is my current salary, although they offered to give a max of 15% on my current. The salary range for this role, in Swedish króna is between 45-50k.
Im a little confused on whether to move forward or not. Any advise?

Not exactly an exit opportunity, but has anyone had their people leader move to a Big Three consultancy and proceed to hire them to their team at that Big Three consultancy (or even generally had this sort of thing happen)?
